Throughout my life physical movement has always given me peace in body, mind, and spirit. In my teens I was involved in all kinds of sports particularly running, swimming, and cycling. In my twenties, I studied martial arts and obtained my black belt in Shotokan karate. Then in my thirties I was drawn to the familiar practices of yoga which I had been exposed to in my childhood. Over a number of years I explored many different styles of yoga and in 2007 I began teaching Hatha and Vinyasa classes.
In 2010, I moved to Seattle to deepen my studies with my spiritual teacher. Once here, I was exposed to Viniyoga which resonated deeply. I subsequently obtained my Viniyoga teaching certificate in 2011 and began teaching group classes at area studios.
Having seen the healing quality of yoga over the years, I am now focused on the therapeutic application of Viniyoga and am enrolled in a Yoga Therapy Foundations training program through Essential Yoga Therapy.
